American Cancer Society Team DetermiNation
When: Saturdays at 8 a.m.
Where: Lloyd Hall
Details: Team DetermiNation is the American Cancer Society’s running team that is dedicating their miles to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. They train for all different races throughout the year but focus heavily on The Broad Street Run since we are the premier charity partner of the race and also the Philadelphia Full & Half Marathons as well. Back On My Feet
When: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 5:30 a.m.
Where: Various locations throughout the city
Details: Back on My Feet (BOMF) combats homelessness through the power of running, community support, and essential employment and housing resources. BOMF recruits members (individuals experiencing homelessness) at homeless and residential facilities around the country and begins with a commitment to run three days a week in the early morning.  

Run with BOMF: Can running with those experiencing homelessness really change your life? Come find out. Back on My Feet’s program begins with a commitment to run three days a week in the early morning.  This commitment sets members up on a path towards accountability, sustainability and ultimately, independence.  But BOMF members don’t run alone. They do it alongside the support of volunteer runners like you, helping them accomplish important life goals and cross finish lines.

Run for BOMF: Back on My Feet's FundRacing program combines the exhilaration of running your favorite race with the satisfaction of giving back! FundRacing with BOMF guarantees entry into your favorite or sold-out races. When you FundRace for BOMF your commitment to raising a set amount of money will go directly to the program. Philly Achilles
When: Saturdays at 9 a.m.
Where: 1601 Chestnut Street, meet in the lobby of the Cigna Building
Details:  Athletes - Achilles membership is free and they welcome anyone with a disability, including amputations, cerebral palsy, cancer, multiple sclerosis, organ transplants, paraplegia, stroke, traumatic brain injury, autism and vision impairment. 

Volunteers - There are many volunteer opportunities to get involved and share the spirit and joy of achievement. Achilles is looking for energetic volunteers who enjoy running or walking, to accompany athletes with disabilities at regular workouts and races, including marathons.

Joining Achilles is easy, just go to a work out! Before your first visit, please fill out the appropriate form: Member Athletes or Volunteer Guide.
