[4/7] Cook Wissahickon 5K

Welcome to the 6th Annual Cook Wissahickon 5k! Cook-Wissahickon is a public K-8 elementary school in the Roxborough/Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia that provides academic excellence in a diverse and welcoming school community. This event will help raise funds for the Wissahickon Sustainability council. Informally known as Cook-Wissahickon’s Green Committee, is a 501(c)(3) organization created with the purpose of transforming the school and grounds into an environmentally friendly and more sustainable campus. The next project for the group is depaving and redesigning the main schoolyard to manage stormwater as well as create a beautiful, dynamic, sustainable park and play area for the entire community.
