What’s up Philadelphia…..and friends joining us from around the world! Here are a few things we’re excited about in the Robust Realm of Running!
The 26th Annual Main Line Run/Walk is this Sunday, September 10th. Great race, and a proper launching pad for…..
Philadelphia Distance Run (PDR), which is almost 10 days away! Fall begins on September 23 so this could be your last race of the summer! Don’t miss it.
Courtney Dauwalter made history by winning her third 100–mile ultra–trail race of the season, the Ultra–Trail du Mont–Blanc (UTMB) World Series Finals in Chamonix, sponsored by HOKA. She's now the first person to achieve this feat in a single year, having also conquered the Western States 100 and Hardrock 100. Courtney is fueled by Tailwind.....and yes, you read that correctly. THREE (3) 100–MILE ULTRA–TRAIL RACE WINS THIS YEAR!
Diamond League is still in full swing. Zurich and Xiamen were last week. Brussels is this Friday. Then…..Eugene next week for the Finals, also dba (doing business as) The Prefontaine Classic! Shoutout to our friends from Nike.
We might be slightly biased, but Philadelphia Distance Run Weekend is going to PACKED with justifiable hypeness:
Saturday, September 16th – Founder, runner, activist, and visionary Alison Desir, author of Running While Black, is bringing her Meaning Thru Movement (MTM) Tour to Philadelphia, sponsored by Brooks. RSVP here for a PDR shakeout run, walk, followed by a panel with Lionel Brahim Brodie III from Original Propaganda Athletic Club.
