[10/29] Fall for Gore-Tex® Trail Run

  • Brandywine Creek State Park Brandywine Creek Road Wilmington, DE, 19803 United States (map)

Join us for a group trail run through the scenic Brandywine Creek State Park and First State National Monument! This newer trail running group meets every other Sunday morning at 8AM in the Smith Bridge Road parking lot - enter Smith Bridge Parking Lot, FSNHP into Google Maps.

We'll head out from the parking lot and run a challenging, but fun, 7 to 8-mile loop on the trails throughout the park. The group trail run is no drop (seriously, we won't leave you behind), FREE and all are welcome to join. What does no drop really mean? We will wait at the tops of hills and turns to make sure that no one gets left out in the woods. If the group does happen to break apart, there will be someone in the front and the backthat knows the route so that you don't get lost.

Our friends from GORE-TEX® are stopping by and bringing the Brooks GORE-TEX® Ghost 10 for you to try out on the trails. Test a pair of GORE-TEX® running shoes and get a jump start on preparing your closet for winter running.
GORE-TEX® running shoes make it fun to keep up your running through the rain and snow. The GORE-TEX® material is lightweight and breathable offering unmatched protection against rain, wind, cold and the elements.

Post run we'll have coffee, sweet treats, and a raffle back in our shop at Glen Eagle Square. If you can't make the run, stop by and see how GORE-TEX® works in our shop between 12 - 2PM.
