At Philadelphia Runner it is our goal to fit you for the proper shoe for your needs. With the assistance of our staff there is no need to just pick a shoe and hope it will be comfortable. We take out the guess work and provide you with appropriate options to suit your needs. Whether you are walking 2 miles a day or running 100 miles a week, we have the shoe for you and the trained staff to make sure you have the correct equipment.

Philadelphia Runner is locally owned and operated by Bryan Mahon and Ross Martinson who have been fixtures of the Philadelphia running community since their days running for St. Joseph's University. The first Philadelphia Runner, located at 16th and Sansom, opened in 2004 and has been serving the community ever since. We are committed to providing first-rate customer service and only carrying the best running and walking equipment available. In order to better serve the Philadelphia area we opened our second store in University City in the winter of 2007 and are proud to offer the same full service of gait analysis and expertise at both locations.

At Philadelphia Runner we also care about our community. We have flyers and information about local races, clubs and places to run in the Philadelphia area and beyond. We also sponsor local road races and are pleased to support the organization Students Run Philly Style. Philadelphia Runner, along with Puma are also proud to support the Philadelphia Track Club which helps post-collegiate runners remain competitive in a relatively unprofitable sport. You'll find us at many local races, come up and say hi!
